The Union Station stated today (9/2/09) that a robbery at Trinity United Methodist Church on Monday night (8/31/09) is still being investigated and they hope to make an arrest soon. See the information below that was distributed by the Midtown Security Community for more details.
Please be aware of your surroundings at all times but especially when walking to and from your vehicle. Always call 545-COPS if you see any suspicious activity.
Robbery at Trinity United Methodist Church on Monday night

Robbery of female victim at Trinity Church, Evergreen and Galloway. Victim was robbed at gunpoint of her purse on the lot of the church around 8:30pm. The suspects are described as two male blacks, one is 5’7, 160 lbs, 15-20 years of age, and the other 5’10 with no further description. Suspects left west on Galloway from the scene in a four door gold colored vehicle driven by a third subject (no description). Victim was escorted to her car by a friend and the suspects pointed the gun at him after she screamed.
Please advise residents we have no other robberies in Union Station matching this MO but continue to be cautious when out at night. Most importantly, please cooperate with the robbers and don’t risk injury. We have investigators actively working this case now and the Union Station will increase patrol in that neighborhood.
