Ok, so if you are like me, the term “budget” is kind of intimidating.  You have your food budget, your automobile budget, your utilities budget…whew.  Well, resident Peter Owen found a great bit of advice courtesy of Quicken on how to save money and be energy conscious at the same time! So, it is good for the environment and good for your bank account too since you can save up to $8,800 per year!

  1. While I’m already doing a lot of this (or plan on doing), there are several suggestions that I didn’t think or know about.

  2. Same here Peter, but I wasn’t always aware of just how much $$ I was saving by using CFL’s or the savings from installing insulation last year. It adds up more than I realized!
