First Thursday Night in Cooper-Young

The weather is great so drive, walk or bike over to the largest entertainment district in Midtown for this month’s First Thursday Night Out in Cooper Young.  March 3rd is the night when business owners dish out discounts on everything from inspirational art and heavy metal records to Gut Bomb pizzas and mocha lattes.  The fun starts at 5:00 pm and while the retail shops usually close around 9:00 pm, you can bet that these popular restaurants will be swinging for a long time after.  Come early and stroll through this historically hip part of Memphis, it’s a guaranteed good time for all.

Underground Art is offering buy one piercing get ½ off next piercing – bring a friend! Toad Hall Antiques celebrates turning 8 with their Annual Storewide Sale! The party starts Thursday from 5-8 pm and continues Friday and Saturday from 10a-5p. Receive 15% off your purchase while enjoying refreshments while you shop!

Burke’s Book Store will have a Sidewalk Sale with $1 books to choose from.  Painted Planet will have artist painting demonstrations and jewelry at 50% off.  Take a look at the great new oil paintings from Victor Lupachev; he is a living National Treasure designee from Russia.
