District 4 News: City of Memphis Law Division 2012 Internships

From Wanda Halbert, Councilwoman District 4:

The City of Memphis Law Division provides unpaid internship opportunities during the summer and throughout the year to law school students who seek practical legal experience in the context of municipal governance.  Each intern is paired with an experienced attorney who will supervise the work of the intern.

Given the state of the economy nationwide and locally, while the internships are unpaid, the rewards are immeasurable to the participants, and invaluable to the Law Division and the citizens of the City of Memphis.

If you know someone who might be interested in participating in the Law Division’s upcoming Summer 2012 Internship experience please have them forward their resume to barbaralette.davis@memphistn.gov or call the Law Division’s main telephone line at (901) 636-6614 and ask for Barbaralette G. Davis.

You may also leave a message with Ms. Davis’ paralegal, Pamela Patterson (pamela.patterson@memphistn.gov) at (901) 636-6517 if Ms. Davis is unavailable.
