Crime Statistics for 2012-2013

Below you will find a link to the Memphis Police Department’s Blue Crush statistics for 2012 – January 2013. Colonel Houston has stated that overall crime in our community is one of the lowest in Memphis. In terms of numbers, the biggest overall issue is theft from motor vehicles (76 of the reported 185 crimes were these thefts).

As a reminder, you can help make yourself less of a theft from motor vehicle target by removing all items that have value from your vehicle when you park, including change in the cupholder, phone chargers and bookbags/backpacks.  Make sure you park in well-lit areas and report street light outages to MLGW immediately.
