No General Meeting for July but…
Please note that we will NOT be holding a General Meeting for the month of July.
This is due in part to the 4th of July Parade this Thursday and also because, in lieu of this meeting, we are requesting residents attend a very important community forum meeting for the Mid-South Regional Greenprint on Tuesday, July 9th from 6-7 pm. This community meeting is to learn more and give input about the Mid‐South Regional Greenprint and Sustainability Plan. This meeting will cover areas such as Rozelle-Annesdale, Orange Mound, University district, Sherwood Forest, Alcy-Ball, Beltline, East Buntyn, Messick-Buntyn, Bethel Grove, Cherokee, Cooper-Young, and the Depot area.
- Where: Orange Mound Community Center located at 2572 Park Avenue.
- When: 6 to 7 pm
Prior to the meeting, you can share your opinion by filling out a brief survey.
The second of three online surveys for the Mid-South Regional Greenprint and Sustainability Plan has been released. The survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/greenprint2
. The focus of this survey is on draft
strategic directions and objectives for the Regional Vision Plan. Strategic directions are the broad outcomes to be achieved by the plan in the long-term, while objectives are more specific targets. Your opinions about what is important to you will help determine priorities for how the plan is implemented.
