We are inviting each and every resident to help us create a long-term plan for Cooper Young. Do you have a great project you’d like to see in the neighborhood? Do you already have a project that could use some help? We want your ideas now more than ever and in the coming months we’ll give you two different ways to share your thoughts on Cooper Young.
First, we will be up-dating our annual survey. This is a great way to get a lot of information from a big cross-section of the community and it only takes a few minutes of your time. You’ll be seeing this survey pop up online and even in your mailbox soon so when the time comes, please take a few minutes and fill it out for us.
Second, we’re excited to be working with resident Sanne Roijmans to run two focus group sessions. These won’t be your daddy’s focus group, though: each session will be a hands-on workshop designed to get you thinking about specific goals and projects for the neighborhood. These sessions will take place on two Saturdays-February 13th and March 5th-at 10 am and will be held at our office at 2298 Young. The first Saturday will focus on generating a number of ideas while the second will use those ideas to come up with specific projects for the community. Participants will get to show off their ideas to the neighborhood in a social event in late March or early April. We need a good group of people to participate in these focus groups; it would be best if you can attend both but we’d love to have you even if you can only make one session. We’ll be providing breakfast and a special thank you gift of a unique Cooper Young t-shirt for all those who participate! If you’d like to get involved with these unique focus groups, we need you to RSVP by calling (901)272-2922 or emailing email@example.com as soon as possible.
