The 1st Annual “Cooper Young Garden Walk” will take place Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10am-4pm. This wonderful new event from the Cooper Young Garden Club is a self-guided tour of 20 private, urban, offbeat gardens and 3 business green spaces located in the Cooper Young neighborhood. Garden styles run the gamut from organic vegetable gardens and free range chickens to cottage, formal, whimsical, and serene. You can visit the gardens in any order. Complimentary Brochure/Map will be available at the Gazebo at Cooper/Young. There will also be a talk on “Special Effects in the Garden” by Carol Reese at 10 am in Jay Etkin’s Gallery.
Tickets are available after March 15 at Stone Soup Cafe and Cooper Young Community Association. Online Tickets are available here. Early Bird tickets buyers will be entered to win a Gift Basket valued at $200.
All proceeds from the Garden Walk will go to fund future CY Garden Club beautification projects in the Neighborhood.
