The Cooper-Young Development Corporation

The CYDC is involved in the development of residential and commercial property in Cooper Young. Most of their residential construction is government subsidized. From time to time they are able to develop both residential and commercial market rate properties.

The Cooper-Young Business Association

The CYBA represents the businesses in the district mostly with regard to marketing and promoting the district to the rest of the city. The CYBA also addresses the issues of commercial zoning, the possibility of the MATA Light Rail etc. The CYBA is the organization that hosts the Cooper Young Festival.
