Between 11 pm and 5:30 am Saturday night/Sunday morning, a home on the 800 block of East Parkway was entered into and robbed. The suspects are thought to have used a chair to climb over a locked gate and fence and then accessed the home through an unlocked back sliding glass door without waking the residents. The back storage area was also broken into.
A police report has been filed about the incident. If you have any information on this theft, or notice any suspicious activity, please call 545-COPS (2677).
As a reminder…
Please always be vigilant about locking your doors, fence gates and windows, even during this nice springtime weather. Items that could easily be taken off a front porch, such as lawn furniture and gardening equipment, should be secured.
