Pet Alert: Found Dog! This sweet dog was found running loose in Cooper-Young, near Young and Barksdale. He’s very friendly, not thin, not food-aggressive. Also readily jumped in the finder’s car. This beautiful German Shepherd mix and her puppy were spotted running down Young Avenue late last week. Thankfully, a very kind resident was able to get them to safety. Update: This girl never had the owner come forward. According to the finder, she is totally awesome and will run on the leash while you bike. Very, very sweet. Doesn’t seem to have an issue with cats. This pretty girl was found today at Oliver and Barksdale. Very sweet, kind of hyper, but no tags. [...]

This beautiful girl was found near Barksdale and Oliver. She has a tag with the name “Betty Lou” and phone number on it, but no one has returned the finder’s calls, voicemails or texts. Two dogs were found around Central and Cooper on Thursday. The smaller dog was injured and taken to Central Animal Hospital. His leg could be broken.
