The Johnny Cash statue, the first project of Cooper-Young based Legacy Memphis, has now raised over $42,000 in cash and commitments and is well past the halfway point of the $75,000 goal needed to commission this major work of art.
A very important fundraising tool is the sale of inscribed bricks. Prices start at $125 and donations are tax deductible. Bricks have been purchased by major U.S. corporations and educational institutions as well as Johnny Cash fans from Switzerland, Canada, and, of course, our Cooper-Young neighbors.
