Be a block captain! We’re revamping the CYCA block captain program. Are you interested in serving as one for your block? Host parties, welcome new neighbors, spread news — it’s the perfect job for a friendly CYer.
Help out with the 4th of July Parade! We host a family parade every 4th of July and could always use some additional hands to help set up, wrangle and break down.
Volunteer at a community picnic! For the first time, the CYCA is hosting A Place at the Table, a picnic that will bring Cooper-Young together with its surrounding neighborhoods at Glenview Community Center on June 23. — Stephanie Gonzalez
