We've officially closed out signups for porches an We've officially closed out signups for porches and bands and are to creating the schedule and map for the big day, which is Saturday, April 18, 12-6:00 PM. The Memphis Irish Society has invited the Cooper Y The Memphis Irish Society has invited the Cooper Young community to participate in the Lucas St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Cooper-Young, taking place Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM. It's the only St. Patrick’s Day parade held on March 17 in Memphis!⁠ ⁠ This year is especially meaningful, as Ireland has been named the Honored Country for Memphis in May 2026, making the parade a key kickoff to a season of cultural celebration across the city. ⁠ ⁠ Parade Details⁠ Date: Tuesday, March 17, 2026⁠ Line-Up: 4:30 PM⁠ Step-Off: 5:00 PM

So of course we are bringing it back this year. We'll be having the second annual CY Cat Walk on Sunday, May 31, at 2:00 PM. So, guess what we need? That's right -- neighborhood cats! The Cooper-Young Garden Club is hosting a workshop The Cooper-Young Garden Club is hosting a workshop to create an upcycled hummingbird feeder, right in time for the arrival of hummingbirds to the area! ⁠ ⁠ Rachel Shriver, garden club member, CYCA board member and Cooper-Young resident will help us transform a clear bottle into a stylish, modern hummingbird feeder!
