With only 10 weeks to go, many Garden Club members and volunteers are tirelessly getting ready for the 4th Annual Cooper-Young Garden Walk.
“What’s that?” you ask.
It’s our annual neighborhood garden party extravaganza weekend celebrating our creative homeowners and businesses who make the effort to beautify our neighborhood. Tour over 50-plus urban, eclectic gardens and green spaces throughout our community. You won’t believe the ingenuity and clever garden solutions you’ll see. Not to mention, garden art vendors, educational booths, gardening demonstrations, artist studios, and even classic cars!
Want to learn more about growing vegetables and herbs?
Want to find out how to create stunning container gardens?
Wondering how hard it would be to grow mushrooms or micro greens?
Ready to taste fermented foods or edible flowers?
Interested in aquaponics or raised bed gardens?
Then bring your family and friends to our two-day garden extravaganza, May 18-19, 2019, and discover forgotten blocks, new neighbors, and hidden garden gems. It’s also the perfect time to stop into our neighborhood shops and restaurants for food/beverage and other discounts.
