The CYCA recently hosted an open meeting to give the residents of Cooper-Young the opportunity meet with the developers and architect of the development that will be installed on the northwest corner of Young and New York. Many issues were addressed such as how many townhomes would be built and price point. In case you missed it or need a refresher, here’s all the info on the upcoming development. Are the plans for the development finalized?
No. They plans are still being being finalized. That’s why we recommend you email lpetrauskas89@gmail.com with your comments on what you like to see or what you envision in the space.
Who is the developer?
Partners Laurynas “LP” Petrauskas, Ricky Heros and Raymond Sharkus. The architect is Jason Jackson with the architectural firm brg3s .
Are these for rent or to own?
They will be townhomes available to buy.
What is the approximate value of each townhome?
It will depend on how many units are built but will be between 300k-450k.
Has this development been filed with the city?
An application to develop the lot on the NW corner of Young and New York has been filed with the Land Use Control Board. S 19-15: COOPER YOUNG: 10-lot townhouse subdivision at NW corner of Young and New York. When will the city council meet about this development?
Unless it is postponed, this application will be heard at the LUCB meeting on Thursday, July 11, at 9:30 AM in the City Council chambers. Comments are requested by July 3 and can be sent to Brett Davis at brett.davis@memphistn.gov.
