Dear Readers Book Club, the Cooper-Young neighborhood book club, will have their monthly gathering this August. They will be discussing the August selection, Black Leopard Red Wolf by Marlon James.
The August selection is Black Leopard, Red Wolf. The first in a projected trilogy by author Marlon James, Man Booker Prize winner for A Brief History of Seven Killings, the book builds on African mythology and folklore to create, as writer Neil Gaiman describes it, “A fantasy world as well-realized as anything Tolkien made.”
