Dear Readers Book Club, the Cooper-Young neighborhood book club, will have their monthly gathering February 25 at 7 p.m.
To start off the year, the book club will read Exhalation by Ted Chiang, a book of nine short stories that ask big questions about life, the universe, and why we are here. Chiang’s fiction has won four Hugo, four Nebula, and four Locus awards, and has been featured in The Best American Short Stories. Take a trip through time and imagine a greater reality where life can bend and change and choices have “ramifications that are literally universal.”
The location for this month’s Dear Readers Book Club will be at Cooper-Young Gallery and Gifts, 889 S Cooper St. Fizzy water and box wine will be provided. For more information, email Kenzie5000@gmail.com or calhountg@gmail.com. — Sheree Stubblefield
