Dear Readers Book Club, the Cooper-Young neighborhood book club, will have their monthly gathering December 17 at 7 p.m.
This month’s meeting has a holiday twist. Book club participants are asked to bring a new or used and gift-wrapped book, preferably one that you’ve read and really enjoyed and want to share with someone else. Write your name in the from field of the present tag, on the wrapping paper, or inside the cover so that whoever reads it will know who to contact to talk more about it.
The location for this month’s Dear Readers Book Club will be at Cooper-Young Gallery and Gifts, 889 S Cooper St., which has a great selection of wrapping paper, though no fancy wrapping paper is required.
