We've officially closed out signups for porches an We've officially closed out signups for porches and bands and are to creating the schedule and map for the big day, which is Saturday, April 18, 12-6:00 PM. Plan to join us for our favorite day of the year! This year Porchfest is being presented by Steve Womack State Farm, and sponsored by Bain BBQ, TLC Closing, Archer Recording Studio, Cooper Young Gallery + Gifts, and Memphis Whistle. Sponsorships are still available! ⁠
The Memphis Irish Society has invited the Cooper Y The Memphis Irish Society has invited the Cooper Young community to participate in the Lucas St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Cooper-Young, taking place Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM. It's the only St. Patrick’s Day parade held on March 17 in Memphis!⁠

This year is especially meaningful, as Ireland has been named the Honored Country for Memphis in May 2026, making the parade a key kickoff to a season of cultural celebration across the city. ⁠

In 2025 we had our first Cooper-Young Cat Walk and it was great fun. So of course we are bringing it back this year. We'll be having the second annual CY Cat Walk on Sunday, May 31, at 2:00 PM. So, guess what we need? That's right -- neighborhood cats! If you have a cat or multiples that deserve an audience, you're in luck -- you can sign up to have your cat featured on the tour!
