Bring a new or used and gift-wrapped book, preferably one that you've read and really enjoyed and want to share with someone else! Write "from (your name)" either on the wrapping paper or inside the cover so that whoever reads it will know who to contact to talk more about it. Some snacks and beverages. Feel free to bring other drinks and/or snacks, but that's not required. We'll get together simply to catch up and leave a book/take a book before the new year.

Today we celebrate the iconic gateway of the Coope Today we celebrate the iconic gateway of the Cooper‑Young neighborhood — the beloved trestle art, commissioned by the Cooper‑Young Community Association, created by metal artist Jill Turman, and dedicated back in 2000. You check out the history of how the trestle came to be in this post. This gateway to our neighborhood has welcomed residents and visitors alike, reflecting the community’s creativity, history, and heart. https://cooperyoung.org/25-years-of-the-trestle.
As we mark this milestone, we’re inviting you to support the ongoing upkeep and future of the Trestle Art. Your donation will help ensure that this symbol of our neighborhood continues shining for another quarter-century and beyond. Right now we are in the process of getting graffiti covered and installing security measures to prevent it from being tagged in the future.
