Dear Readers Book Club, the Cooper-Young neighborhood book club, will have their monthly gathering Wednesday, May 29 at 7 p.m.

May’s book is Heart Berries: A Memoir by Therese Marie Mailhot. This is the debut book by Mailhot, a First Nation Canadian who teaches at Purdue University. The collection of essays follows Mailhot through her troubled childhood, early and tumultuous motherhood, and into her adult struggles with mental health and personal identity.
