October is here, and that means it’s time for breast cancer awareness.
Join the Cooper-Young Community Association at this month’s community meeting as we learn about the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk coming to the Liberty Bowl on October 23rd. We’ll take a look at the route, find out how to register, and make signs to cheer on the walkers as they help raise awareness and funds for a fantastic cause.
The meeting will be on Tuesday, October 11th at our office at 2298 Young. We’ll get started at 6 p.m. with a social half-hour and snacks and then then get to the main event at 6:30 p.m. This promises to be a great opportunity to hang out with neighbors and learn about an important cause. — Kristen Schebler
