WREG News Channel 3’s Go Jim Go! Campaign recently chose Peabody Elementary to serve as one of its featured donor schools this fall.

Spearheaded by WREG meteorologist Jim Jaggers, Go Jim Go! Is an annual fundraiser for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Since it began in 2006, Go Jim Go! has raised nearly $2 million for the hospital with Jaggers, riding 333 miles every year across the Mid-South to drum up support for neighborhood fundraising efforts.

On Wednesday, September 28th, Jaggers and his team rode by Peabody Elementary to kick off the school’s Go Jim Go fundraising activity. The fundraiser is slated for September 30th– October 30th with a pledge goal of $1000.

The support of Peabody faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members is needed to make this pledge goal a reality. All donations will benefit LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. If you are interested in supporting the goal, come by the school office or contact Mrs. Jones at 416-4606 for additional information.
