Got a closet full of old clothes? Ready to clean out your closet to make room for the holiday sales? Then you don’t want to miss the Midtown Clothing Swap hosted by the Cooper-Young Community Association 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 18.
In the same spirit of sustainability that gave you the Cooper-Young Community Yard Sale, the CYCA is encouraging you to clean out your closet and bring your unwanted, clean clothes to our offices at 2298 Young. You will get the opportunity to donate old clothes and barter for “new” ones. You do not have to bring clothes to the swap to shop. If you are not able to make it to the event you can donate clothes without attending. Whatever we have left over will be donated to a worthwhile organization.
