Over the Cooper-Young Community Association 43 years, neighborhood volunteers have been the backbone of the organization. Their continued support makes possible the CYCA’s major events like the 4-miler and beer festival. Volunteers are also there for smaller monthly events and to give a helping hand at the festival booth.
For all these reasons and more, the CYCA wants to celebrate all the hard work volunteers put into making the neighborhood historically hip and fun. Our annual volunteer appreciation celebration will take place December 16 at 6 p.m. at Memphis Made Brewery, 768 Cooper. All Cooper-Youngers who volunteered with the CYCA in 2019 are invited to attend this merry evening. There will be drinks, food, fun and games.
