Cooper-Young Porchfest returns April 18—bigger tha Cooper-Young Porchfest returns April 18—bigger than ever, with 50 porches and more bands than ever before. Join us for a spring day of live music, neighborhood connection, and front-porch energy that brings the whole community together.
Come to the CYCA General Meeting on Tuesday, April Come to the CYCA General Meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 6:00 PM at 2298 Young Ave, to learn about current issues in Memphis affecting our immigrant neighbors with Casey Bryant, executive director of @airlegaltn Advocates for Immigrant Rights (and Cooper-Young resident!) Casey will share insights into the challenges many immigrant families are currently facing, as well as ways our community can stay informed, engaged, and supportive. ⁠

The Memphis Irish Society has invited the Cooper Y The Memphis Irish Society has invited the Cooper Young community to participate in the Lucas St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Cooper-Young, taking place Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM. It's the only St. Patrick’s Day parade held on March 17 in Memphis!⁠

This year is especially meaningful, as Ireland has been named the Honored Country for Memphis in May 2026, making the parade a key kickoff to a season of cultural celebration across the city. ⁠
